Friday NCAA Tournament Gambling Picks

I still don’t bet these!

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-San Diego Practice Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports

The picks went 7-8 yesterday (Davidson pushed). Let’s see if we can get to .500 today.

Providence (+2.5) v. Texas A&M- Never A&M.

Purdue (-21) v. CSU Fullerton- Carsen Edwards is awesome and Purdue has too much size.

Marshall (+12) v. Wichita State- The Shockers win, but Marshall keeps it closer than 12. The Shockers’ defense hasn’t been good enough for me to like them by this much.

Cincinnati (-14) v. Georgia State- There are no trigger warnings with the gambling picks. Cincinnati's defense is exceptional. They win big.

Lipscomb (+21.5) v. North Carolina- While I have the Tar Heels in the Final Four, I think Lipscomb keeps it within 21.

Arkansas (+1) v. Butler- Always tough to bet against the Bulldogs the way they shoot. But I think Arkansas forces enough turnovers to win.

Murray State (+10.5) v. West Virginia- Always terrifying for West Virginia to see if they get officiated slightly differently in the tournament. Murray State is a very good mid-major.

Nevada (-1) v. Texas- Nevada’s struggled at times this season. But Texas is too inconsistent to bet on.

Creighton (-2) v. Kansas State- Creighton’s offense is well positioned to take advantage of Kansas State’s pick-and-roll defense. The Jays roll.

Michigan State (-14) v. Bucknell- The Spartans are way too talented to lose to Bucknell. Sparty on.

Texas Southern (+21.5) v. Xavier- The game I would least like to bet today. The line feels about perfect. I’ll say Texas Southern keeps playing hard at the end and barely covers.

College of Charleston (+11) v. Auburn- I’m not a big believer in Auburn. They win, but College of Charleston gives them a scare.

UMBC (+23) v. Virginia- This is a giant spread for a Virginia game. UMBC loses, but they cover.

TCU (-3.5) v. Syracuse- The Horned Frogs have a superb offense and blew up Baylor’s zone. They handle Syracuse.

Missouri (-1) v. Florida State- Michael Porter hits a few threes, and Missouri wins a close one.

New Mexico State (+5.5) v. Clemson- Give me New Mexico State straight up.
