•Where: Ferrell Center; Waco, Texas

Three things to know

•In their first meeting in Norman, Oklahoma led Baylor 22-16 in the first half, but posted low-scoring second and third quarters as the Lady Bears pulled away for a 74-52 win.

•Ana Llanusa led the Sooners with 27 points in a 19-point win against No. 21 West Virginia on Saturday and hit a career-high six 3-pointers.

•Baylor is undefeated in conference play, posting a monster 90-44 win against Texas Tech on Saturday in Lubbock, Texas.

Oklahoma's layup issue dissolves just in time for No. 3 Baylor, NormanTranscript, Oklahoma found easy baskets in transition and through its half-court offense during a 19-point win over No. 21 West Virginia on Saturday.

Shots from up close went through the net like they’re supposed to.

“So many things come unraveled when you miss easy shots, and I just did not feel like that happened to us much today,” OU coach Sherri Coale said.

The Sooners made 15 of 23 layups, which might sound like a reasonable expectation, but consider that OU made just 6 of 25 layups against Baylor in a 74-52 loss back in January.

Confidence finishing at the rim will be important again Monday, when OU rematches No. 3 Baylor in Waco.

Coale wondered if she would look back at the West Virginia game and notice a few blown chip shots, but for the most part “there weren’t any point-blank, at the rim, just not finishing a play,” she said. “It’s amazing how much not having the wind sucked out of your sails with that can do for you.”

Those makes helped OU shoot 50 percent from the field and win its second straight game.

A third will be difficult.
