James Lynch and Drew Galitz were both named to the first team All-Big 12 squad by the associated press. Clay Johnston was named to the second team.
Lynch finished the season with 5.5 sacks. He was Baylor’s best player on the defense and a giant flip for Matt Rhule during the 2016 class.
Galitz was Baylor’s most consistent special teams player. He booted the ball all season and handled kickoffs.
No other Bears made the lists, but with so many guys returning, Baylor figures to have more guys on the All-Big 12 teams next season.
