Mario Kegler has been suspended for the first six games of the season for violation of team rules. Scott Drew announced that today.
Kegler is expected to be Baylor’s starting small forward. The first five games are all very winnable. Baylor plays four buy games, and then takes on Ole Miss. But in their sixth game, Baylor could play Cincinnati. That’s a tough game without Kegler.
Makai Mason could also miss Baylor’s game tomorrow because of an ankle injury.
