Per Matt Rhule, fan favorite (and founder of #TeamDoStuff) Ishmael Wainright will start at tight end this weekend vs. UTSA. Starting TE Jordan Feuerbacher is out a couple weeks with an undisclosed hand injury.

I speculate that this is incredible advancement in timeline for Ish’s first start. I also doubt the coaching staff would throw him out there if he wasn’t prepared.
Ish saw a good number snaps in the Liberty game, almost entirely in a blocking role.
