Coach Matt Rhule gave the press some critical updates on injuries / rehab progress with UTSA upcoming.
KJ Smith has been designated as doubtful with shin splints. Sounds silly, but I can personally attest nothing takes the power away from your legs like shin splints. Unfortunately, rest is the only remedy.

The secondary is looking to get a few important pieces back. Davion Hall has apparently returned to practice and is aiming to play this week. Harrison Hand should also return on Saturday against UTSA. The freshman had a few impressive flashes against Liberty... one of the few bright spots in a depleted unit last week. Jameson Houston also has been upgraded to probable.
Rhule says Davion Hall, Jameson Houston practiced today along with Henry Black. He doesn't seem to think K.J. Smith will play this week. pic.twitter.com/2EgI9aZi4J

JaMychal Hasty will also apparently be out of commission for roughly 4 weeks with a knee sprain. True freshman John Lovett showed impressive burst, and will hope to fill in as the main back while Terence Williams is still on the mend.
"This is [John] Lovett's time." - Rhule on RB group with Hasty injury. Terence Williams inching closer to return.
