Junior Chris Platt suffered a knee injury versus Oklahoma on Saturday that diagnosed as season ending on Tuesday.
Junior DE Xavier Jones broke a bone in his leg during the same contest.
On a team where experience was already at a premium, two upperclassmen going down was one of the last things an already shallow team could afford.
