Last season, the Bears split the regular season meetings, sweeping the Horned Frogs at home and then falling on the road in five sets.

The Big 12 matchup will be featured on Fox Sports Southwest Plus with Chuck LaMendola (play-by-play) and TCU volleyball alum Alexia Heist (color) on the call.

Scandal Fallout

Football

If, for some reason, Baylor doesn't pull it out today, what's the way you'd like it to happen?...

Despite the 0-3 start, Rhule said the players on this team are “going to end up being champions because they have a championship character, so support them now. Follow them in the most adverse of times, because those kids need to know that ‘someone has my back.’’’

“It’s a tremendous opportunity for our players to play against the No. 3 team in the country, a team that went to Ohio State and beat them on their field,” Rhule said. “Baker Mayfield, as we all know, is a fantastic quarterback, and he has a tremendous amount of weapons around him. They have a really good defense. We certainly have our work cut out for us and we’re excited to try to get something done against them.”

While his targeting ejection ate up most of the attention surrounding CeeDee Lamb this week, the fact the freshman receiver is emerging as a go-to target for Baker Mayfield has been overlooked a bit.

Lamb has shown the ability both to make catches in traffic and burn defenders deep. His ability to keep pressuring defenses is important not only for Saturday but the rest of the season for the Sooners.

Protecting depth

The depth that was one of the big reasons the Sooners' offensive line was so vaunted coming into the season continues to erode. Before the season, Alex Dalton was lost to a season-ending injury, and the decision was made to try to redshirt Johnathon Alvarez if possible.
