Hunter Cooke of Texas High School Football provides a look at Baylor football:

The Baylor Bears are heading into the first year of the Matt Rhule era, a year that will challenge and stretch them. The new head coach has the opposite identity that the rest of the Big 12 (and Baylor’s former regime) does, he likes to play the defensive game while the rest of the conference is remembered for their wide-open offense. Baylor is going to have to make some major adjustments going into the upcoming season, and these 5 players will help ease that transition period.

Pierre Jackson signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv. From the Waco Tribune-Herald:

Jackson has signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv, a Euroleague team in Tel Aviv, Israel. Jackson, 25, had an eight-game stint with the Dallas Mavericks last year before succumbing to a hamstring injury and being released in January.

Matt Mosley believes Baylor was underrated in the Big 12 poll. Via the Dallas News:

Yeah, that might be a bit low. But it's important to remember this program is missing one entire recruiting class.

Peter will have a Game of Thrones look once again this season. If you like Game of Thrones, those are awesome reads. If you don’t watch it, make a wise move and start.
