ODB MAILBAG 7/14

Football, Basketball, Mullets, and KU Beat UT

No, it’s leather. Corinthian leather.

OU’s Orlando Brown. He would fill a huge—which he is at 6’8”/345lbs—need in our OL. We’re talking a potential first round pick. Massive (no pun intended) talent. Runner-up would be his teammate Baker Mayfield. Why Baker? So I could humiliate him by letting him sit on the bench.

Texas. I. CAN’T. STAND. THEM! I hope we run them and Herman right out of McLane and into the Brazos. Below is an actual Word Cloud made from players responses at the Under Armour All-America game when asked what they thought of when they hear University of Texas. I added one comment. See if you can guess which one.

They will report with all the other players in two weeks to begin practices. Both not only have a shot at making the depth chart, but seeing playing time.

I can’t speak for any of the other contributors, but I plan on crash...I mean attending multiple tailgates/sailgates every home game with Mrs. BNT. We can call these ODB tailgates if you wish.

Mrs. BNT, BNT, and SweetieXOXO at one of the tailgates.

First answer: I’m leaning yes on both.

Second answer: If we beat OU and drop only a couple of games in conference, we will be in the B12 Championship game. If that doesn’t happen, I still see us ending up 3 or 4 as there isn’t much separation between 3 through 7.

BNT’s 3 for 1:

I refuse to take seriously any rankings that have UT higher that KU. Click the button in the tweet below to see if KU beat UT.

J-Mot is one of my favorite Bears. I do think he has a greater than average chance to make the Mavs roster as they need a couple of more big men in the rotation. There is no doubt that he will attack the basket and hit the boards. The big question is the consistency of his jump shot, which he is working on.

Yes. No.

I put the o/u at 2 for the 29th recruiting weekend.

Welp, that’s all for now. Comments? Other questions?

xoxo
