  • Diamond Dust: Texas vs. Baylor — a brief softball history lesson in heroics |, Texas softball’s regular season comes to an end Sunday when the Longhorns and 17th-ranked Baylor conclude their three-game series at McCombs Field. Texas is 28-16 all-time against the Bears and hasn’t lost to Baylor at McCombs Field since May 15, 2011. That’s not so surprising. Livingstone strikes me as smart, articulate and press-savvy — and she’s in no hurry to get crossways with the embattled Baylor University Board of Regents and rankled alumni over a sexual-assault scandal raging on and on partially because of misguided actions by Baylor leadership. Who can blame her? Continue Reading . . .
