Softball:
Gia Rodoni threw her second no-hitter in a row! Graham Hayes of ESPNW had this:
It marks the first time since 2010, when North Carolina's Danielle Spaulding no-hit Nebraska twice in the Seattle regional, that a pitcher threw two no-hitters in the same regional. And it is just the eighth time it has happened since the start of the NCAA tournament in 1982. Among those to accomplish it previously were Monica Abbott, Lisa Fernandez and Cat Osterman.

Football:
Rick Brown of FanRag Sports lists Xavien Howard as one of the Dolphin’s breakout candidates:
A knee injury limited cornerback Xavien Howard to seven games as a rookie last year, but when he played in those seven games he showed why the Dolphins drafted him in the second round out of Baylor. Howard does not mind hitting. While that is not the first thing someone looks for in a cornerback, it displays the mindset of the 6-foot-1, 198-pounder.
