Baylor made the top four for Bralen Taylor, a 2018 tight end.
Baylor offered some players as well:
Rivals (free) had this on Gerald Lidell—a 5 star small forward in the 2018 class:
Liddell has a college-ready game and has already gone through the gauntlet that makes one believe that he should leave an immediate mark on the college game next year. When it comes time to pick a school, look for Baylor and Arizona to be in the best spot for his signature during the early signing period in November.
Matt Rhule is heading to the NFL Draft. From Stephen Hawkins via Daily Progress:
Baylor coach Matt Rhule is spending the rest of this week back in Philadelphia, where he will be at the NFL draft with his former Temple players while also touting the Bears.
Rob Dauster of NBC says Johnathan Motley’s NBA decision is the second most important one for the next season of college basketball:
Johnathan Motley, Baylor: Motley was Baylor’s best player a season ago, a second-team all-american for a Bears team that outperformed everyone’s expectations. Motley has a shot of being a late-first round pick, but he’s also a redshirt junior that will be 22 years old by the time the NBA combine happens. With him back in the fold, Baylor, who returns the majority of their key pieces, might be able to give Kansas a run for their money in the Big 12 again. Without him, they’re still a back-end top 25 team, but it significantly changes their ceiling.
