The Baylor Lady Bears earned the No. 1 seed in the Oklahoma City region and will take on No. 16 seed Texas Southern at the Ferrell Center Saturday at 5:30 p.m. CT.
Also earning No. 1 seeds are Connecticut, South Carolina, and Notre Dame.
Also playing in the Ferrell Center on Saturday will be No. 8 seed LSU and No. 9 seed California.
The Big XII placed teams in every region except the Stockton Region. In the other three Regions, the Big XII placed two teams in each region. No. 3 seed Texas, No. 6 seed Oklahoma, No. 6 seed West Virginia, No. 7 seed Kansas State and No. 9 seed Iowa State are also going dancing.
Baylor, Kansas State and Texas will each be hosting first and second round games while Iowa State has to go through Storrs, CT, West Virginia must go though College Park, MD and Oklahoma must go through Seattle, WA.
