SicEmSports.com - Robinson could be the Nor'easter Baylor needs for 2018, The unique thing about Daevon Robinson is that a team can put him in a spot on the field and be successful.

Baylor isn't sure where where it wants to put the 3-star recruit from Medford, N.J. But that's a decision that doesn't have to be made yet.

What the program does know is that Robinson is taking his official visit to Waco this coming weekend. Robinson is expected to arrive Thursday evening. This is his first ever trip to Texas.

"Baylor is one of my top schools,'' Robinson said. "I want them to show me around show me that Baylor is a great place and prove that what other people say about Baylor is wrong.''

Rivals.com - 3-Star OL Jackson Kimble anxious to get started at Baylor, Rivals, Baylor head coach Matt Rhule can’t deny that he hasn’t taken his lumps in his first season leading the Bears football team, but few should be surprised.

Three-star offensive tackle and Baylor commit Jackson Kimble and his Southlake Carroll team are in the state playoff quarterfinals after a win against Arlington on Saturday night, but his senior year hasn’t been without its own moments of adversity.

“The regular season didn’t really go the way that we wanted it to,” he said. “We haven’t trailed at the half in any game this season and we had three losses. We finished third in district, so that’s not what we wanted, but we took what we learned from those losses and put them into what we’re doing now.”
