Trayvon Bromell ran the anchor leg for the United States in the 4x100m relay and grabbed the bronze medal for the team. After placing eighth in 100-meter final race on August 14, Bromell revealed that he has been hindered by a strained Achilles tendon and will need surgery. He still managed to power through and claim a spot on the podium for the United States. The team finished with a 37.62 second time. Sic ‘Em, Trayvon!
