Baylor has made the top five for 2017 Shooting Guard Jase Febres:
Blessed To Announce My Top Schools‼️ pic.twitter.com/QmvPQPxZTy

Febres would join an excellent cast of shooting guards on the 2017-2018 Bears. Although Baylor offered Febres later than some of those other schools, Alvin Brooks III was previously recruiting Brooks when Brooks was still an assistant under Bruce Weber at Kansas State.
Febres would be a nice addition to this class. He has excellent range, and he would be able to take his time and develop behind Al Freeman and King McClure. There has not been a ton of news on which way he’s leaning, but the Bears should be a contender with Brooks history recruiting Febres.
I’ll have a post later in the week detailing how ridiculous the Big 12 basketball landscape has become, especially with Jamie Dixon landing 4-star talent at TCU. In an improving Big 12, the Bears should be pleased to make Febres top five.
