Royce O’Neale is playing for the Warriors summer league team. O’Neale played on two Baylor teams: the 2013-2014 squad and the 2014-2015 team. Those were the first Baylor teams to make the tournament in consecutive seasons. O’Neale was a do it all wing for the Bears. In the following video, O’Neale shows off some moves against the Spurs summer league team:

Pierre Jackson is playing for the Portland Trail Blazers summer league team. In the video below, Jackson and former Louisville player Russ Smith alternate scoring. Jackson is still wearing his old Baylor number, 55. Jackson was the starting point guard on Baylor’s 2011-2012 Elite Eight team. In his final season, Jackson became the first player since Jason Terry in 1997 to lead one of the six major conferences in points and assists.
Both players will face an uphill battle to make an NBA roster. Jackson’s career has been plagued by injuries, and O’Neale, while good at many things, may lack a truly dominant skill to make the NBA. Hopefully one of them can catch on, but if not, they should both continue to play professionally for a long time.
