Baylor men’s basketball released its full 13-game non-conference slate for 2016-2017 this afternoon, which will showcase several strong matchups for the Bears.

After opening up the season on Nov. 11 against Oral Roberts at home, Baylor will once again be part of the ESPN College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon. This time, the Bears will play Oregon at home after losing to the Ducks 74-67 in a late game in Eugene, Ore. The Ducks are a preseason favorite for the 2016-2017 year, coming in at No. 8 in CBS Sports’ preseason rankings.

On Nov. 18, Baylor will host 2013 NCAA Tournament Cinderella team Florida Gulf Coast in a campus site game leading up to the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament in Paradise Island, Bahamas. On Nov. 23-25, over Thanksgiving break, the Bears will travel to the Bahamas to participate in the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament. First-round matchups have not yet been revealed, but the other seven teams in the tournament are Michigan State, VCU, Louisville, LSU, Wichita State, Old Dominion and St. John’s.

On Dec. 3, the Bears will have another notable matchup when Xavier comes to town. Xavier is ranked No. 5 in the CBS Sports preseason rankings. On Dec. 17, the Bears will travel to Fort Hood, Texas for the second year in a row to play a game at Abrams Gym. This year’s matchup is against Jackson State. Baylor’s last non-conference game of the year will be part of SEC/Big 12 Challenge. The Bears will travel to Oxford, Miss. to take on Ole Miss.
