Phillip Erickson of the Waco Tribune-Herald covers the many voices calling for a full release of findings:
The executive committee of The Baylor Line Foundation — formerly the Baylor Alumni Association — other Baylor alumni and some sexual assault survivors called for the release of the full findings from Pepper Hamilton LLP, the Philadelphia-based law firm that conducted “an independent and external review of Baylor University’s institutional response to Title IX and related compliance issues through the lens of specific cases.”
Rico Gathers speaks highly of Baylor and will graduate in August, per Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News:
"I had to finish up my degree," Gathers said after Wednesday's OTA session at Valley Ranch. "That was very important to me. I got it done.
"I'm glad to say I graduated from Baylor University."
Gathers called Baylor a "prestigious institution" and later defended the university's reputation.
"It's been real difficult," Gathers said of the school's recent sexual assault scandal. "Baylor is a good place, man. Certain events are really shining down on it right now. But I'm glad to say I graduated from Baylor.
Heather Stearns, a pitcher for the softball team, earned Senior CLASS Award Second-Team All-America:
Stearns was among 30 candidates for the award that honored NCAA Division I softball seniors that are chosen for achievements in four areas: community, classroom, character and competition. In April, she was announced as one of 10 finalists for the award. The Senior CLASS award stands for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School. The award is in its 11th year of existence, with Premier Sports Management overseeing the award out of Overland Park, Kan.
