Per Gerry Hamilton of ESPN, Patrick Hudson, a former Baylor commit and one of the best offensive linemen in the 2016 class, has signed with Texas. This was expected, but is a big loss for the Bears. As we mentioned previously, Hudson has not attacked Baylor- something many others did during this process, and we wish him well.

Per C. Austin Cox at the Big 12 Conference Blog, the Lady Bears non-conference schedule is out:
Baylor, one of the top teams in women's college basketball, has finalized its 2016-17 non-conference slate, 17th-year head coach Kim Mulkey announced. The Lady Bears, after playing two home exhibition contests, will play seven home games and five away games, three of which are at a neutral site.
"We have an unbelievably tough non-conference schedule again, a lot of them are on the road or on a neutral court. It will prepare us for Big 12 play and the NCAA Tournament and will make us a better team," said Mulkey.
Perry Pitre of Houma Today had this on Seth Russell:
“My neck is perfect, man, just perfect,” Russell said at the recent Manning Passing Academy. “It's obviously scary when it's a neck injury and you have to deal with the possibility of paralysis, but I never experienced any paralysis and I'm back 110 percent.”
