With several news stories breaking towards the end of the day today, here is a list of some recent Baylor links.

Wondering who Baylor’s regents are and how they are elected? ESPN put together a detailed article on the 34 current voting regents.

KWTX reports that three more women have filed a federal Title IX lawsuit against Baylor. One of the alleged sexual assaults involved a member of the football team.

Chip Brown of Horns Digest claims that the push to bring Art Briles back as Baylor’s head coach is over and contract settlement negotiations have begun.

Influential Baylor alumnus and former Houston Astros owner Drayton McLane spoke out about the current situation at Baylor, stating he is “disappointed” Baylor didn’t learn from its previous scandal.

In happier news, here’s a great article about Taurean Prince by the Indy Star. Prince worked out with the Indiana Pacers this week. The Pacers currently have the 20th pick in the NBA Draft, which will be held next week in Brooklyn.

After his workout, Prince envisioned a scenario in which he could be the power forward on the court between the dynamic Paul George at his natural small forward position and the emerging Myles Turner protecting the rim as the center.

“My celling is high in that regard, as far as guarding multiple positions and also playing multiple positions,” Prince said after the Pacers were the 12th team he visited during his pre-draft workouts. “That’s what comes with the versatility and being able to do different things in different areas on the court.”
