According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, Baylor will host Xavier next season. The following season, Baylor will head to Cincinnati to take on Xavier.
The Bears will have plenty of opportunities to find out how good they are in the non-conference next season. The game against Xavier adds another potential top 10 match-up to Baylor's non-conference schedule. Fresh off earning the top seed in the West Region of the NCAA Tournament, Oregon is heading to the Ferrell Center next season. Baylor also will play in the Battle for Atlantis, which features perennial tournament teams Michigan State, VCU, Wichita State, Louisville, and VCU.
Xavier finished last season 28-6. The Musketeers outlook for next season hinges on if Trevon Blueitt returns. With him, Xavier would return a 15 PPG versatile player from a team that beat Villanova last season. Without Blueitt, Xavier would lose its top three scorers from last season.
