Baylor Announces Grey-Green-Grey Uniform Combo for Homecoming vs. Kansas

I like it. I'm guessing others might not. So is the way of the world.

A few minutes ago, Baylor's Equipment Czar Jeff Barlow tweeted out tomorrow's combination, the heretofore unseen grey-green-grey.

Personally, I think this is a fantastic combination and will enjoy seeing it in action against the Kansas Jayhawks.  I also realize, however, that many might disagree, hoping for something more traditional in light of the fact that we are playing our Homecoming game.  I get that, too.  I just can't force myself to care that much.

As we've talked about a hundred times on this blog and elsewhere, the bottom line is that these uniforms are largely intended to satisfy two groups of people, neither of which are the Baylor alums sitting in the seats: players and potential players (recruits).  That's why Baylor has gone with the black, chrome, and now grey helmets and combos, and that's why we're going to keep doing it.
