• Baylor earned a share of the Big 12 championship for the second time ever and second straight year -- the first time BU has ever won a conference title in two straight years and the program's eighth all-time conference title (6 in Southwest Conference, 2 in Big 12).
• Baylor is now one of two teams to win the Big 12 title in back-to-back seasons (Oklahoma, 2006-08).
• QB Bryce Petty has thrown a TD in a BU-career-record 24 straight games played.
• Petty (412 passing yards) extended his school record with a 15th career 300-yard passing game, and recorded a 6th career 400-yard passing game to own the BU record.
• Petty had a 1-yard rushing TD on the game's first drive, making him the 9th player in program history with 20 career rushing TDs.
• Petty had a career-high 34 completions.
• RB Shock Linwood had a 1-yard rushing TD in the 1st quarter for his 24th career rushing TD, tying for 6th-most in Baylor history -- it was also his 16th rushing TD of the season, which ranks 2nd on Baylor's single-season list.
• RB Johnny Jefferson had his first career multi-TD game with touchdown carries of 2 and 3 yards, bringing his season total to 6 rushing TDs.
• WR Antwan Goodley had a 58-yard TD reception in the 3rd quarter for his 6th receiving TD of the season and 21st of his career.
• Goodley (116 receiving yards) had his 11th career 100-yard receiving game, the 4th-most in Baylor history.
• WR Levi Norwood had a career-high-tying 7 receptions and has now had at least one reception in 35 straight games.
• DE Shawn Oakman had a 3-yard sack in the 1st quarter, giving him 10.0 on the season, which ties for 2nd-most in program history. It also gave Oakman 18.5 tackles-for-loss, which are 3rd-most in a season in BU history.
• Oakman is now tied for 7th on Baylor's career sacks list with 12.0, and his 31.0 career tackles-for-loss are 8th-most in BU history.
• MLB Bryce Hager (12 tackles) had his 13th career double-digit tackles game (5th of season).
• PK Chris Callahan made a career-long 46-yard field goal on the last play of the first half. Callahan has made 15 of his last 16 FGs, after starting his career 1-of-6.
• DE K.J. Smith had a 4-yard sack, giving him 5.0 sacks on the season and he added another 0.5 tackle-for-loss to reach 10.0 tackles-for-loss this season.
• LB Taylor Young (career-high 13 tackles) had his 2nd career double-digit tackles game.
