• Senior QB Bryce Petty had TD passes of 7 and 63 yards, giving him 50 career TD throws, which ranks 2nd in school history.
• Petty now has 6,097 career passing yards, moving him ahead of J.J. Joe (5,995) for 3rd on Baylor's career passing yards list.
• WR Antwan Goodley had a 63-yard TD catch in the 2nd quarter for his 19th career receiving TD, tied for 4th-most in Baylor history.
• Goodley moved into 7th on Baylor's career receiving yards list (2,009), passing Lanear Sampson (1,905), Dominique Zeigler (1,923), Trent Shelton (1,978) and Melvin Bonner (1,984).
• Goodley (132 receiving yards) had his 11th career 100-yard receiving game, 4th-most in Baylor history.
• Goodley had 9 receptions, giving him 117 career receptions, which moved him past Davis Gettis (116) for 12th on Baylor's all-time list.
• WR Corey Coleman had a 7-yard TD catch on Baylor's first offensive play for his 5th TD catch of the season and the 7th of his career.
• S Orion Stewart (11 tackles) had his 2nd career double-digit tackles game (1st of season).
• LB Bryce Hager (13 tackles) had his 11th career double-digit tackles game (3rd of season).
• RB Shock Linwood had a 1-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter for his 9th rushing TD of the season and the 17th of his career.
• LB Taylor Young had a 10-yard sack in the 2nd quarter and a 12-yard sack in the 3rd quarter, giving him 4 sacks on the season.
• Young also had a career-high 12 tackles, including a career-high 11 solo tackles.
• DT Andrew Billings had a 7-yard sack and forced fumble that was recovered by the Bears on WVU's first possession. It was Billings' 2nd sack of the season and 1st career forced fumble.
• PK Chris Callahan made a career-long 38-yard field goal in the 1st quarter and added a 34-yard field goal on the next drive, giving him 6 consecutive made field goals after starting the season 1-for-6.
• CB Xavien Howard had an interception and 15-yard return in the 1st quarter for his 3rd interception of the season (4th of career).
• Howard recorded a career-high 7 tackles (all solo).
• P Spencer Roth had a 69-yard punt in the 2nd quarter, giving him 8 career punts of 60-plus yards, tied for 3rd-most in Baylor history. Roth also had a 56-yard coffin-corner punt that went out of bounds at West Virginia's 1-yard line in the 1st quarter.
