The legacy that Kenny Chery and Royce O'Neale is historic, and it only took them two years to build it.

Chery and O'Neale will be the first seniors in Baylor Men's Basketball history to play in consecutive NCAA Tournaments, and they've only been here two years.

Chery was a JUCO transfer from State Fair Community College. He started at point guard next to fellow Canadian Brady Heslip in his first year and quickly turned into an impact player with his silky mid-range game. He's been a double-digit scorer in both seasons under Scott Drew and this season has been the vocal leader of the team.

O'Neale transferred to Baylor from the University of Denver. He, too, joined the starting lineup in his first season after coming off the bench in his first 7 games. O'Neale has filled in the cracks, contributing on the boards, with dead-eye shooting, stingy defense, and excellent passing.

Their stay has been short, but it'll be tough to imagine what this team will do without them.

I dug up a few videos of some of their bigger moments. If I'm missing any, post them in the comments!

True to his game, there's nothing flashy I can find out there of O'Neale. Maybe he'll drop 30 tonight to make up for it.

I'm going to forgo previewing the Raiders for tonight's thread. They're pretty bad; we're pretty good; it's a home game; Rico Gathers won't be under the weather like the last matchup in Lubbock; and it's senior night. And besides, if Baylor don't win this one, we'll never get another basketball pod again. The Bears aren't going to let that happen.
