Tuesday DBR: Big Shot

Baylor Football drew around 1,000 participants to its camps the last two days including a whopping 491 participants at a satellite camp in Houston. This ain't you're Billy Joel type of big shot, this one is here to stay.

First things first, football season parking passes go on sale June 9th. Parking will be available in the Ferrell Center lot and at the Speight Garage (that one doesn't seem like it'll be all that easy to access, but alright...). Season passes are $100 and single-game parking, if available, is $20. Shuttles will take patrons from these locations to the tailgating area by the law school. I'm assuming students will be (gasp!) forced to walk over to the stadium. Handicap season passes are also $100 and are for parking at the BRIC where there will be a handicap-accessible shuttle. The University says they have taken care not to oversell in order to guarantee spots for those with season passes. However, parking is first-come, first-serve so be sure to get there early. That just means more tailgating time on the river!

This isn't an isolated incident. Our coaching staff truly cares about the guys the recruit/coach/have coached.

There are hundreds of other reactions I could add in here, but I think you get the point; the camps were enormously successful.

Finally...

That's redshirt freshman Nickleback Austin Jupe. Unless I and Mark's Scholarship Chart are incorrect, the young man is not on scholarship at Baylor. Regardless, we wish him the best of luck with the up-and-coming Roadrunners.
