Baylor Nation has eagerly awaited the return of Art Briles' prolific offense and Phil Bennett's bunch of "football playin' fools" to the field. The Big 12 Champions (that won't get old) have been working hard for three weeks and today, we, the fans, finally get to see the progress.

Football To Wrap Spring Drills With Scrimmage -

If you're reading this before 11:00, you should catch up on your Spring 2014 Depth Charts before you read Mark's Preview of today's game.

There isn't much else to be said that hasn't already been said. It's go time for the players, especially those who are battling for positions.

Personally, I'll be looking at the secondary the hardest. In my opinion, that group of players is the least concrete at the moment and I am excited to see what Bennett has planned for this group.

I'll be tweeting throughout the event, as will (I assume) Mark. You can follow us at @DerBaylorBaer and @OurDailyBears, respectively. If anyone else is planning on live-tweeting, they can let us know in the comments. Also, be sure to keep an eye on @BUFootball for all the official updates and pictures.

Baseball Suffers Walk-Off Loss at No. 8 Texas -

Baylor Baseball almost got the win in Austin. The Bears were up, 4-2, heading into the bottom of the ninth inning following an outstanding eight innings of pitching from Brad Kuntz. RHP Josh Michalec came in to close out the game in the bottom of the ninth. Unfortunately, UT had their rally caps on and were able to get the bases loaded. It was then that Payton (UT) hit a double down the left field line, driving in three runs, including the winning run.

Baylor plays UT again tonight at 7:00 on the LHN.

Men's Tennis Opens Big 12 Play With No. 28 Texas Tech -

No. 7 Men's Tennis finally begins conference play this weekend as they host the No. 28 Red Raiders tonight at 6:00. Baylor currently has six straight wins against Top-40 teams and four victories against current Top-20 teams.

Women's Tennis Moves Past No. 57 Kansas, 5-2 -

The Tennis dominance continues as the No. 16 Lady Bears silenced the upstart Jayhawks, 5-2. Baylor moves to 5-0 in conference play and will look to extend that winning record tomorrow against K-State.

Track & Field Travels Back To Florida Relays -

The T&F team is in Florida at the 75th Pepsi Florida Relays this weekend. This is their first out-of-state meet this outdoor season. Additionally, four Baylor women's distance runners competed Friday at the Stanford Invitational.

Results so far can be found here.

Rachel Johnson set a new school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the home of the Tree yesterday. In the same event, but in Florida, Junior Derwin Graham set a personal record as he bested the rest of the field by over four seconds.  Many more events have their finals today.
