Baylor Nation has eagerly awaited the return of Art Briles' prolific offense and Phil Bennett's bunch of "football playin' fools" to the field. The Big 12 Champions (that won't get old) have been working hard for three weeks and today, we, the fans, finally get to see the progress.

Football To Wrap Spring Drills With Scrimmage - BaylorBears.com

If you're reading this before 11:00, you should catch up on your Spring 2014 Depth Charts before you read Mark's Preview of today's game.

There isn't much else to be said that hasn't already been said. It's go time for the players, especially those who are battling for positions.

Personally, I'll be looking at the secondary the hardest. In my opinion, that group of players is the least concrete at the moment and I am excited to see what Bennett has planned for this group.

I'll be tweeting throughout the event, as will (I assume) Mark. You can follow us at @DerBaylorBaer and @OurDailyBears, respectively. If anyone else is planning on live-tweeting, they can let us know in the comments. Also, be sure to keep an eye on @BUFootball for all the official updates and pictures.

It was then that Payton (UT) hit a double down the left field line, driving in three runs, including the winning run.

Baylor plays UT again tonight at 7:00 on the LHN.
