Baylor started out the game on a 20-4 burst. They found a way to defeat the Jayhawk will this afternoon. They limited the Jayhawks to just 26.5 percent shooting on 9-of-34 in the first half. Every chance that Baylor had, they used their length and size to push the Jayhawks outside of the paint. Baylor won the paint battle 50-22.

So many points for the Lady Bears were scored off turnovers today. The Lady Bears scored 26 points off 20 Jayhawk turnovers. They were able to pressure the ball, cut off passing lanes and really just put the Jayhawks in uncomfortable positions. They found a way to do it and they did it pretty easily.

Baylor would push the lead to as many as 37 in the second half when Imani Wright hit two free throws, giving Baylor the 79-42 lead with 1:11 remaining.

Oklahoma St. Cowgirls and Baylor have met twice this season, with Baylor winning both meetings. You can pencil in that the Lady Bear's remember going to still water, and barely pulling out an overtime win, basically without Sims. That game will tip off at 2 p.m. on FS1 on Sunday, March 9th.
