Saturday DBR: Whoop(ed) the Wildcats

The Baylor Lady Bears and Kim Mulkey face the Kentucky Wildcats in the Sweet 16. In a first-ever (maybe) occurrence, it's the DBR written while a game is going on!

It's game day! Let's get right into it.

Lady Bears Face Kentucky

No. 5 WBB Faces No. 10 Kentucky in Sweet 16 - BaylorBears.com

Coach Kim Mulkey and her Lady Bears are in South Bend today to do battle with the Lady Wildcats of the state college from Kentucky. The game is a rematch of the quadruple overtime madness that was the game at Jerry World, though it is nigh impossible that today's game will match that scoring output.

Honestly, I don't know much about Kentucky's team and I am utterly exhausted from this week, so I don't have much to say on this one. I trust that Mulkey will have the Lady Bears ready to go and that it'll be a close game. Watch it on ESPN at 11:00.

Hey look, I didn't wake up until this game had already started and now it is the second half. The Lady Bears are running over Kentucky right now and if they can stay out of foul trouble, they'll be in the Elite Eight once again.

Trayvon Bromell ran a 10.02 100-Meter dash, so he's pretty slow and all. By the way, that is just 0.01 second short of the junior world record (those 20 and under). Future Michael Johnson? Other qualifiers for today's finals include Tiffani McReynolds (JR) in the 100 Hurdles, and both Men's and Women's 4x100-Meter Relay. Full results are available in the link.
