Tuesday DBR: College Football Outrage Day

New, 120 comments

We all know that everyone in the universe will be angry when the Playoff Committee rankings come out tonight, so let's focus on happier things in the meantime, hmm?

Brett Deering

Lady Bear Blitzkrieg

Stop it, Nina, they're already dead. The Lady Bears played Tarleton State in exhibition last night and won 102-41. Nina Davis led the team with 28 points and 12-13 shooting, and Khadijiah Cave, Kristina Higgins, Kristy Wallace, and Alexis Prince joined her in double digits. The team shot 64.7% as a whole and forced 20 turnovers. The success of Cave and Higgins in the preseason bodes well. Having productive bigs in WBB is important (see: Brittney Griner and that otherworldly blonde girl from UCONN last year).

This is fantastic by Olson. Briles may draw Kingslayer comparisons, but his style has always given me an Oberyn Martell vibe- minus Martell's unfortunate dental issue in the later part of his life.

And Bob Stoops never killed anyone's children (it's an ongoing investigation).

The Daily Bear

Something about Superbear's face makes me think of David Schwimmer.
