Conner isn't the only who is busy this week, but here I am, taking a break from writing about Star Wars to bring you the sporting news (it's for a scholarship application). As such, we're going to get right to the big story of the day yesterday.

Volleyball Wins Second Straight

Baylor picked up their third conference win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Texas Tech in Lubbock. The Bears hit .261 (I frankly have no idea is that is good or not) and had four players with double-digit kills in the victory. Baylor dominated the first set, winning 25-17, but trailed 24-21 in the second set before coming back and winning the point, 31-29. The third set saw Tech jump out to an insurmountable lead of 6-0 en route to a 25-23 victory. Baylor would not be denied though, and won the fourth set, 25-23.

The Bears have a bye this Saturday and will resume play next Wednesday at conference No. 4 Kansas, to whom Baylor lost 3-1 in Waco. There is still plenty of time to pick up wins in Big 12 play and a win at Kansas should greatly boost the confidence of the team.

I've heard it is going to be a frigid 60-someodd degrees come Saturday. Boo hoo. Wear an long-sleeved undershirt and wear your designated color over it. Pretty simple. Let's make this stripeout happen, y'all.
