Daily Bears Report 02.06.2013 (National Signing Day)

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Of course, the biggest news today is the National Letters of Intent rolling in from various Baylor recruits across the United States, including top-rated receiver Robbie Rhodes, who has already signed with the Bears this morning. With Rhodes, the commitment from Waco DT Andrew Billings, and the early enrollment of QB Chris Johnson, Baylor Football looks to have as strong a class as ever. You can keep up with the signings through the official Baylor #SignBU site, the @BUFootball Twitter, or ODB's NSD threads.

Baylor Soccer is also receiving NLIs today, and has signed two student-athletes from the D'Feeters Club team in North Texas. Both goalkeeper Sara Martinson of Southlake, TX and Ashley York of Irving, TX have signed with the Bears, and will most likely be playing for the highly-ranked squad next year. For updates on their NSD, follow @BaylorFutbol on Twitter.

Both Baylor Basketball teams play tonight, with the Lady Bears hosting Kansas at 7:00 PM and the Bears playing at Oklahoma State at 6:00 PM on ESPN. The Lady Bears look to continue their record-breaking home and conference winning streaks, while the Bears look to break a losing streak by earning their 4th consecutive win over the Cowboys.

Baylor Baseball has started spring practice and begins their season February 15th at UC Irvine, hoping to recapture some of the experience from last year's transcendent season. Members of that record-breaking team who were drafted by MLB teams last year returned to Baylor to prepare for spring training, and though many of the faces are the same, it's something completely different for these Bear alumni.

If you miss football, have some .gifs of RGIII doing what RGIII does-playing football extremely well. Hogs Haven has the Top 5 touchdowns of 2012, and they just make me miss RGIII the more.
