Baylor MBB travels to Oklahoma State to face the team that took down Kansas last week in a shocking upset. The Bears are looking for their sixth conference win and their fourth straight win over the Cowboys on Wednesday in a nationally televised game on ESPN. Baylor is coming off a few painful losses, most recently to Iowa State in Iowa, and hope to finish out the Big 12 schedule strong.

Baylor's Brittney Griner and Odyssey Sims are both on the Wade Trophy Watchlist for the second year in a row. Both Griner and Sims were finalists in 2012, and Griner received the coveted trophy after her efforts in the Lady Bears' 40-0 championship run.

Baylor Softball starts their season this Thursday against Illinois State at 5:30 PM, looking towards their goal of reaching the College World Series again. With the return of senior pitcher Whitney Canion from ACL injury, along with the retention of two of their top hitters, the Lady Bears hope to have a strong season and a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.

Baylor Women's Golf is in second after the first round at the Hurricane Invitational yesterday. The Lady Bears finish the last 4 holes of the second round today after play was suspended for darkness, and move straight into the final round. Lauren Taylor is tied for sixth overall at 1 over par, and leads all members of the Baylor team.

Finally, the city of Waco is looking for a developer for a section of land along University Parks and the Brazos to create a mixed-usage plan for the banks of the river, to go with the continued development of Baylor Stadium. The city hopes for something that adheres to their "Imagine Waco Plan for Greater Downtown," which would have pedestrian friendly areas with spaces for community gathering and play.
