Rico Gathers had a career best 22 points last night in 22 minutes, helping lead the Bears to a 80-60 victory over West Virginia last night. Brady Heslip also had 20 points, shooting six of from behind the arc. Pierre Jackson had 15 points and 9 assists. Despite Isaiah Austin and Cory Jefferson having unusually low scoring nights and early foul trouble, the Bears took control in the second half.

Out of Lubbock, a surprisingly good story about the Lady Bears and their quest for another national title, as well as how Kim Mulkey keeps everyone motivated. The Lady Bears face (2/3) UConn on Monday night in Connecticut in both their last non-conference game before the tournament and their last real test before March. Baylor's only loss this season was against 2nd-ranked Stanford after an Odyssey Sims injury.

Baylor Football has an offseason to-do list, according to David Ubben, and it's pretty much exactly what you'd think. Shore up the defense, make sure Bryce Petty is ready, and continuing the WR development train all make the cut.

Baylor Women's Golf finished in sixth at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge yesterday, playing well despite the crowded and talented field. Sophomore Hayley Davis lead the team with a 9th place finish, and head coach Jay Goble believes that Davis has what it takes to win tournaments down the road. The Lady Bears head to New Orleans next for the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship February 24-26th.
