USA TODAY Sports

The Lady Bears made it 6 weeks in a row at the top of the AP poll this week, after rolling to easy wins over Kansas and Texas. Baylor hosts Texas Tech today in the Ferrell Center, looking to continue their 34-game Big 12 winning streak. The Lady Raiders are 3rd in conference play and are lead by senior guard Casey Morris' 12.3 points per game. This game will be televised regionally on FSSW. Baylor junior guard Odyssey Sims was honored as the BIg 12 Player of the Week for last week, after her 13 and 18 point games against Kansas and Texas. During that time period, Sims also only turned over the basketball 3 times.

22nd-ranked Baylor Softball hosts Southern Miss in a doubleheader today starting at 4:00 PM at Getterman Stadium. Though pitchers have yet to be announced, senior Whitney Canion, Baylor's all-time leader in strikeouts and K/7, could start either one of these games. Another pitcher to watch is freshman Heather Stearns, who threw the 16th no-hitter in Baylor history in her second career start last Sunday.

Men's Golf is in fourth after the first two rounds of play at the Oak Hills Invitational in San Antonio yesterday. Sophomore Kyle Jones leads the team at 3-under-par and sits in 3rd place individually, and was the only Baylor golfer to hit under par yesterday. Baylor teed-off for the final round at 7:30 AM this morning.

Baylor Women's Golf currently sits in sixth place after the first round of play in the Northup Grumman Regional Challenge yesterday, shooting a 18-over-par 302. Sophomore Hayley Davis leads the team with a 9th place 1-over-par, and is just two strokes back of the tournament lead held by Duke's Alejandra Cangrejo at 1-under.
