Syracuse is really good, you guys. Like really good. They are legendary for their zone defense, basically their calling card at this point.
How we handle Syracuse's guards, led by Tyler Ellis and Trevor Cooney, could determine the outcome of the game. Kenny Chery and either Gary Franklin or Brady Heslip will have their hands full tonight.
Our friends over at Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician, the outstanding blog for the Syracuse Orange, put up a short preview of the game with general information. Syracuse is a 4-point favorite as of the time of this writing.

The Maui Invitational comes to a close on Wednesday just in time for the NIT Season Tip-Off tournament featuring Arizona and Duke to begin.
Syracuse-Baylor Preview - Yahoo Sports
Syracuse and Baylor's unbeaten status has been challenged in the Maui Invitational. The eighth-ranked Orange and No. 18 Bears meet for just the second time Wednesday night in the championship game at Maui. The Maui Invitational has a history of upsets, but Syracuse and Baylor have managed to avoid them, albeit narrowly at times. The Orange (6-0) needed a strong second half to pull away from California on Tuesday, winning 92-81 after the teams were deadlocked at 41 at the half.
The game starts in 30 minutes on ESPN. I wonder if we might see Royce O'Neale in the starting lineup after his strong play...?
