Team: Chaminade Silverswords

Key Players: Christophe Varidel, Kiran Shastri

Eric Bovaird has the Silverswords sitting at 2-0 as they enter the invitational tonight against the 17th (Coaches') ranked Baylor Bears. This team beat the Texas Longhorns last year to open the Invitational and the twin towers of Isaiah Austin and Cory Jefferson will look to squelch a repeat performance.

Chaminade only has one man who has played minutes that is taller than 6'7" which should play right into the hands of your Bears. Be on the lookout for the three point shot being taken early and often by the Silverswords because it is the only way they can neutralize the talent and size deficit they face.

This should be a comfortable win for the Bears, but with this team, who knows.

Another close victory might be exactly what Baylor needed to prepare for a trip to Hawaii. The No. 18 Bears look for a 10th consecutive victory Monday against Chaminade in the Maui Invitational. Though Baylor would appear to be in good position to start 5-0 for the third time in four seasons, it hasn't been all easy. The reigning NIT champions overcame 38.8 percent shooting to pull out a 66-64 win over South Carolina on Nov. 12, and held off pesky Charleston Southern for a 69-64 win on Wednesday.
