Brittney Griner dunked for the 11th time in her career last night, leading the Lady Bears to a 66-51 victory over Iowa State in Ames. Griner also blocked 6 shots to go with her 22 points and 8 rebounds, bringing her to within 7 blocks of the NCAA record. Odyssey Sims had 12 points and freshman Alexis Prince had 11 as the Lady Bears kept their Big 12 winning streak alive. The top-ranked Lady Bears return home this weekend to face Oklahoma on Saturday at 11:00 AM.

Baylor women's tennis opens their dual-match season with a home match against Sam Houston State today at 3:30 at the Hurd Tennis Center. The 15th-ranked Lady Bears have one nationally ranked player in No. 16 Ema Burgic. After this match against SHSU, Baylor will welcome several schools to the Hurd Tennis Center for the ITA Kick-Off Weekend, the qualifying rounds for the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.

Baylor WR Terrance Williams wants to be a Dallas Cowboy, after growing up a Cowboys fan and going to the Senior Bowl as a top receiver talent in this year's draft. Williams could be the second consecutive receiver from Baylor to be picked in the first round, after Kendall Wright went to the Titans with the 20th overall pick last year.
