Friday Afternoon Video: Hot Cheetos and Takis

Because any time 7 middle schools kids in an afterschool program in Minnesota can challenge for my favorite song of 2012, you know it's making a Friday Afternoon Video.

Arguably my favorite song of 2012, even though I didn't discover it until 2013.

Grantland's Rembert Browne (one of my faves) has the scoop and a review here, but the basics are this: 7 black middle school kids who attend an afterschool program in Minnesota (!!!) that teaches them about hip hop and helps them make their own music are responsible for this. I can only imagine that this is what it was like to watch Adrian Peterson in<strike> high school</strike> middle school.

Also, for those who are unaware, Takis.

I started off thinking that #11 was my favorite, but clearly #5 is underappreciated genius. After going a while thinking that #10 has a silky smooth quality that might mean he has the best future and/or was the best, I'm back on #11. I mean, how can you compete with this:

I'm on point like an elbow/Fingers red like Elmo

I know I can't. Feel free to leave your favorite lines and/or songs of 2012 in the comments.
