See that little ESPN logo? Yeah. We're playing on the Worldwide Leader this week, and we moved our game to Friday night to make it happen. Oh, and it's also our first game this season outside of the friendly confines of FCS. Baylor fans from near and far will be shirking their duties for an early weekend and making their way to Monroe, Louisiana to visit cozy Malone Stadium. Did I mention it's also ULM's home opener? I didn't? Well it is, and they're going to be pumped for this game after back-to-back impressive showings against SEC West teams.
We're just chock full of subplots up in here.
Season to date:
Unless you've spent the first three weeks of the 2012 season living under a rock, you've heard of these ULM Warhawks, probably because of their stunning overtime victory o'er Arkansas in Fayetteville two weeks ago. 'Twas an impressive performance, that one.
Since then, the Warhawks proceeded to nearly pull the same trick on Gene Chizik's Auburn squad before falling short on an errant field goal. Trust me, nobody was wishing for that kick to split the uprights more than I. I love drama not involving Baylor almost as much as I love seeing SEC teams lose at home. There's just something ... awesome about it.
Those two games are the only two ULM has played so far -- how about that schedule, eh? -- meaning they are 1-1 on the season. Their full slate:

The spread: Between Baylor -7 and -7.5 most places.
Hasn't moved much at all in the last two days. Trends seem to be in ULM's favor to cover the spread with Baylor winning outright. Bettors must expect a close, high-scoring game since they're also taking the Over in large numbers.
