I have never once been interviewed this way. Seems pretty annoying to have all those voice recorders in your face. Can't they just share? Mandatory Credit: Kevin Jairaj-US PRESSWIRE

You are in luck! Stephen Cook, a Waco area photographer looking to branch, it appears, into photojournalism, took the time to film and upload a series of interviews with Baylor players and coaches at this year's fall camps. Considering that today marks the first day off for the Bears since the beginning of fall practice last week, I thought this might be a good time to post them here.

Because he uses vimeo to upload and host his videos, I can't just embed them here, so a link will have to do. On his vimeo site are two interviews with Briles, and one each with Lache Seastrunk and Ahmad Dixon. You should check them out.

Also, in related news, RantSports predicts an 8-4 season for the Bears behind senior QB Nick Florence, which prompted me to post another poll, and David Ubben (aka Ubbykins) is doing his preseason Top 25 players in the Big 12 countdown again. So far, Baylor has WR Terrance Williams at 23 and OG Cyril Richardson at 21. Both are too low, in my humble opinion. Further back, Ubben also posted a recruiting scorecard (ranking) of Big 12 schools at the end of July. Baylor is third in the conference behind Texas and Oklahoma on the strength of our 19 commits so far.

I must have missed this a few days ago, but Travis Haney, also of ESPN.com fame, put up a list of the nation's top 10 receiving corps behind the insider paywall with Baylor making the cut. I swear I didn't read that before I wrote last night that I think Baylor does, in fact, have one of the best WR units in the country. You'll have to take my word for it.

UPDATE: Stephen Cook made those videos on behalf of SicEmSports.com, Baylor's site on the Rivals network. I didn't know that when I first posted them, so my failure to say so initially was not intentional. Cook has apparently done photo work for SicEmSports in the past, as well.
