Here's the Fox Sports Baylor Football preview. Art Briles has "a tremendous amount of confidence in the passion, the energy, the drive, the fearlessness that he [Florence] is going to bring to the table" and that should be more than enough to cheer the heart of any Baylor fan. While positive about the offense, the author(s) think that Baylor's only going to be able to go to a bowl game.

TexasFootball.com's Greg Tepper looks at which coaches in Texas (Big 12 and otherwise) are the most aggressive when it comes to high risk plays. Where Art Briles ranks on both lists (aggresiveness and aggressiveness rewarded) is something Baylor fans should note.

Baylor Women's Golf has released their 2012-2013 schedule, which includes eight out-of-state tournaments in places such as Los Angeles and New Orleans. Baylor Golf brings in a very strong team coming off the program's best year, including Hayley Davis, who was honored as Baylor's first-ever All-American in the sport last year.

Baylor Soccer was ranked 24th in the country in the NSCAA rankings released Tuesday. This is the Bears' first national Top 25 ranking since 1999, and was awarded on the merit of their strong 2-0 start. Baylor and Oklahoma State are the only two Big 12 programs represented in the poll.

Finally, some advice from the Lariat that's directed at freshmen, but is good for every current student.
