Looks like he'll be pretty hard to miss, actually. Courtesy of Colt Barber (from BearsTruth.com):

That's a big bloke, indeed. Before anyone asks, I assume that "starting at DT" means that it will be his first position at Baylor, not that he will immediately come in and start this season. He's only been on campus for one day. If Osei started immediately for Baylor, it would mean he's either an extraordinary talent (which is certainly possible) or our DT situation is even more dire than I imagined. Smoak's original tweet definitely read like Osei would begin his career at DT before possibly moving elsewhere.

Barber mentions in the tweet above that Osei is 24. It's been reported other places that he's 25. The discrepancy seems to be an issue of nobody knowing (yet) what day he was born; we know that Osei was definitely born sometime in 1987. It doesn't really matter. Because he has never played professionally or in the collegiate ranks before, Osei will have full eligibility at Baylor, meaning he could be redshirted if the situation called for it and still have 4 years remaining. His relatively advanced age makes that unlikely, however, and I'll be very interested to see if he gets into the rotation at DT this season. He's not your typical freshman DT, after all.

Also, there is a rumor flying around one of the Baylor subscription boards that we might be getting another transfer (not from PSU) that would sit out this season. If/when that news becomes reportable, I will tell you everything.
