The Watch List Watch continues this week with a pair of Baylor upperclassmen honored for the second time on pre-season lists. OG Cyril Richardson was named yesterday to the watch list for the Rotary Lombardi Award, given each year by the Rotary Club of Houston to the top college lineman or linebacker in the nation. He was previously named to the Outland Award watch list (top interior OL) last week. I believe he is the first Baylor OL named to a watch list for this particular award (I mean the Lombardi) in some time. I may be wrong on that.
Joining him as a two-time honoree is senior WR Terrance Williams, who was named to the watch list this morning for the Biletnikoff Award, given each year to CFB's top WR. Williams was previously named to the Maxwell Award list (top offensive player period), and is one of 49 players recognized on the preseason watch list. Of those 49, 8 are from the Big 12, including yet another Baylor WR, redshirt junior Tevin Reese. The combination of Williams and Reese makes Baylor one of just six teams in the country with multiple WRs on the preseason list; the others are UNC, WVU, A&M, Tenn, and Pitt.
