None of us knew when ODB went live in October that its reign as the GWOAT would be so short, but here we are. This afternoon, Baylor announced the creation of a new website devoted entirely to the funding and construction of Baylor's proposed riverfront stadium. A co-venture between Baylor Athletics and Populous, the firm in charge of designing and building the stadium, the website leads in with a video showing greater graphic detail of the stadium than most have ever seen before, provides links to news about the stadium and its construction, and provides facts, figures, and frequently-asked-questions with every bit of information you could possibly want to know.

It's still a work-in-progress, obviously, as you can tell from the fact that some pages are under construction, but I am blown away by the quality of Baylor's latest effort. I can't think of a single example like it anywhere in the country. You should check it out.

UPDATE: Chris Yandle, Baylor's Associate Director of Athletic Communications, credited Brad Sheffield, Baylor Athletics' Coordinator of New Media, with the creation of the site. If you want to thank him, he is on twitter as @BradSheffield.
