19 for 19.

Baylor University sponsors 19 NCAA sports and for the first time in university history all 19 made the postseason.

Baylor Baseball's regular season is finally in the books, with a 2-1 loss to Texas. However, they do pick up the 1-seed in the Big 12 Tournament and play (8) Kansas State at 12:00 on Wednesday in Oklahoma City. The Bears have the 4th best RPI in the nation, according to PerfectGame.com's Kendall Rogers. They also hold the nation's longest home winning streak at 22, and are 29-3 at the Baylor Ballpark. The Austin-American Statesman's Kirk Bohls thinks that Josh Ludy should be the Big 12's Player of the Year (and I do too). He also says that Josh Turley should be the conference Pitcher of the Year. He's also high on Baylor Athletics, in general.

Baylor Softball was eliminated from the NCAA tournament with a 6-2 loss to the Stanford Cardinal Saturday, after defeating MVSU 5-0. They finish their season at 34-22 and had Holly Hall, Kathy Shelton, and Kayce Walker named to All-Big 12 teams. The Lady Bears rebounded to make the NCAA regional tourney after losing their ace pitcher, Whitney Canion, to a torn ACL early in the season.

Baylor Track earned 29 entries into the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds, which are to be held this weekend at the Mike A Myers Stadium in Austin. Baylor currently is a top-25 program and has multiple top-10 seeds in various events.

In conference news, SBNation quotes a report that FSU's move to the Big 12 is "inevitable," and that a Clemson move would probably follow, though they add that the Big 12 member schools are not united on adding the two. The Twitter-verse is split as well, with FSU/Clemson being reported as moving/not moving to the Big 12 at least once an hour. Ryan Thorburn of DailyCamera.com writes more on the Big 12-SEC bowl game and what it means for the BCS.
