Now that Baylor Baseball has sent the Aggies off to the SEC in style with a weekend sweep, the next big item on the Baylor Athletics docket is the NFL Draft, which is set to kick off on Thursday evening with Round 1 and extend over the rest of the weekend.
The imminence of the Draft means that there will be tons of Draft-related news to share, particularly with regard to Baylor's two probable first round picks-- QB Robert Griffin III and WR Kendall Wright. I'll try to find as much as I can about the rest of Baylor's Draft crop, which could include C Philip Blake, RB Terrance Ganaway, and OT Robert T. Griffin, and where they might go. I think, but I don't know, that Ganaway is considered a safe 3rd or 4th round pick, Blake is expected to go somewhere around the 4th, and Big Griff might go somewhere in the 5th or 6th. We'll see.
We kick off the news today with an outstanding article from the Washington Post about RG3 and the man behind the socks.
