Because I was out for most of the day, I'm just now catching up on information from the twitterverse. One thing that I felt like was noteworthy is that 2014 CB Cedric Collins, one of the top recruits in the state of Texas next year, has apparently announced his top three and intends to commit relatively soon.

This is not a new name for close followers of Baylor football recruiting; Collins is one of the elite DB recruits in the 2014 class and has already visited Baylor unofficially at least once. I believe, but I don't know for sure, that he was at the Spring Game last weekend. Collins already holds offers from Baylor, SMU, Kansas State, Texas A&M, and obviously TCU after just his sophomore year, and he will no doubt get offers from every other school in the state unless they decide they can't get him and don't bother or want to keep the "we didn't offer!" claim in effect.
